World Autism Awareness Day is a convention established since 2007 by the United Nations which encourages, on April 2nd, the spread of awareness about autism and the conditions connected to it. Since 2012 Asperger Pride has introduced this celebration organising themed events involving people with autism as protagonists, their families, professionals and partners. Thanks to the partnership with Autism Europe since 2013 we have introduced slogans and contributed to raise their campaigns in Italy. Since 2017 Asperger Pride no longer locally operates, but continues to offer its virtual contribution via social media and internet.
